Terms & Conditions / Legal Notes

The protection of your data and safeguarding of your privacy is of utmost importance to us. For this reason, we have established security and data protection regulations that ensure the greatest possible protection of your data.

We guarantee compliance with the statutory data protection regulations. All employees of the company are bound by these regulations.

In the following, we would like to outline which data we process when and for what purpose and on what legal basis. This is meant to help you understand how our offered services work and how the protection of your personal data is guaranteed.

According to Art. 4(1) GDPR, personal data is all information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. A natural person who can be identified directly or indirectly is regarded as identifiable. For more information, see Art. 4(1) GDPR.

This Privacy Policy can be accessed, saved and printed at any time at (https://newcareer.ch/).

Insofar as we cite our legitimate interest as the legal basis (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), you have the right to object according to Art. 21 GDPR.

According to Art. 21 GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time. We will then no longer process your personal data for the purposes of direct marketing or related profiling.

We also do not process your personal data for other purposes after an objection unless we can demonstrate compelling and legitimate grounds that outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims (see, for example, Art. 21(1) GDPR, so-called “limited right to object”). In this case, you must provide reasons for the objection that arise from your particular situation.

For reasons that arise from your particular situation, you can also object to the processing of your personal data for scientific, historical research or statistical purposes in accordance with Art. 89(1) GDPR unless the processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest (see Art. 21(6) GDPR).

We will also point out your right to object separately in the individual sections (for example, with the phrase: “You have the right to object”) if this right exists. There you will also find additional information on how to exercise your right to object.

In order to keep the following Privacy Policy concise, we occasionally use links to refer to information and privacy notices on external websites (see also the section titled “External links” in this Privacy Policy). We make every effort to keep the links that we list in this Privacy Policy up to date. Nevertheless, due to the constant updating of the websites, it cannot be ruled out that links will not work correctly. Should you notice such a link, we would be happy if you let us know so that we can include the current link.

Other services used by us also use cookies. We outline the use of cookies by these individual services for you in the following.

5)    Information about Google services
On our website, we use various services from Google Inc. (“Google”), 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

You can find more information about the individual Google services that we use on this website in the subsequent sections of this Privacy Policy.

Through the integration of these Google services, Google may collect and process information (including personal data). It cannot be excluded that Google will also transmit the information to a server in a third country.

As is evident from Google’s Privacy Shield certification (this can be found at www.privacyshield.gov/list under the search term “Google”), Google is committed to complying with the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework and the Swiss-US Privacy Shield Framework regarding the collection, use and storage of personal data from the member states of the EU or Switzerland. Google, including Google LLC and its wholly owned U.S. subsidiaries, has certified that it adheres to the Privacy Shield requirements. You can find additional information at www.policies.google.com/privacy/frameworks?gl=en.

We ourselves have no influence over which data Google actually collects and processes. However, Google states that the following information (including personal data) can generally be processed:

  • Log information (your IP address in particular)
  • Location information
  • Unique application numbers
  • Cookies and similar technologies

When you are logged into your Google account, Google can add the processed information to your account and treat it as personal data depending on your account settings. For more on this, see policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites?hl=en-GB.

Google states the following in this regard:

” We may combine the information we collect among our services and across your devices for the purposes described above. For example, if you watch videos of guitar players on YouTube, you might see an ad for guitar lessons on a site that uses our ad products. Depending on your account settings, your activity on other sites and apps may be associated with your personal information in order to improve Google’s services and the ads delivered by Google.” (https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en-GB)

You can prevent this data from being added directly by logging out of your Google account or by selecting the appropriate settings in your Google account. You can also prevent the installation of cookies – to the extent that Google uses them – by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser; however, please note that you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent in this case.

How to delete cookies in the most common browsers is outlined for you in section “4) Cookies”.

You can find more information in Google’s terms of service and privacy policy, which you can access here:

You can find information on Google’s privacy settings at privacy.google.com/take-control.html.

6)    Use of Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics on our website, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”), 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. We also use the additional tool “Google Optimize” in conjunction with Google Analytics.

Google Analytics uses so-called cookies, text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of the use of the websites visited by you. Google Analytics also uses so-called web beacons (hidden graphics). These web beacons can be used to evaluate information such as visitor traffic on websites. The information generated by cookies and web beacons about the use of our website (including the user’s IP address) is transmitted to a Google server, possibly in the USA or third countries, and stored there. This information can be passed on by Google to its contractual partners.

You can find information on Google’s existing Privacy Shield certification and other relevant information on data processing by Google when using Google services in this Privacy Policy under section “5) Information about Google services”.

The following types of data are processed by Google:

  • Online identifiers (including cookie identifiers)
  • IP address (only anonymised)
  • Device identifiers

You can find additional detailed information on the processed data at https://policies.google.com/privacy/ under “Information that we collect as you use our services” and at privacy.google.com/businesses/adsservices/.

We only use Google Analytics with activated IP anonymisation. This means your IP address is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the European Economic Area (EEA) Agreement. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.

Furthermore, we have concluded a processing contract (Art. 28 GDPR) with Google for the use of Google Analytics and Google Optimize. Google processes the data on our behalf to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity for us and to provide us with other services related to website activity and internet usage. Google may transfer this information to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google.

Our purpose for using Google Analytics is to analyse user behaviour on our website and be able to react to it. This enables us to continuously improve our offer. We use Google Optimize to understand the effect of adjustments to our website on our users and to continuously optimise our website. For this purpose, different versions of our website are presented to users and various criteria are defined (for example, determining whether a section can be found based on the click behaviour of users). We are only presented with one statistic; we cannot draw any conclusions about a single person from this statistic.

The legal basis for the processing of personal data described here is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest required for this lies in the great benefit that the functions described above have for our offer. In particular, the statistical evaluation of user behaviour enables us to respond and optimise our offer in line with our interests.

Within the context of the processing contract, Google is authorised to commission subcontractors. You can find a list of these subcontractors at privacy.google.com/businesses/subprocessors/.

Right to object

You have the right to object. You can prevent Google from processing your data by downloading and installing the browser add-on available under the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en-GB

You can also prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie is installed that prevents the future collection of your data when you visit this website: Deactivate Google Analytics.

You can also prevent the installation of cookies by selecting the corresponding settings in your browser; however, please note that you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent in this case.

How to delete cookies and change the cookie settings in the most common browsers is outlined for you in section “4.) Cookies”.

The processed information is stored for 12 months and automatically deleted after this retention period.

For more information on data handling in connection with Google Analytics, please refer to Google’s privacy policy:

support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245

The provision of personal data is neither required by law nor by contract and is also not required for the conclusion of a contract. You are in no way obliged to provide the personal data. However, not providing the data could mean that you are not able to use our website or are not able to use it to its full extent.

6.1 Use of Google Tag Manager

We use Google Tag Manager. Google Tag Manager is a solution that allows us to manage website tags through a single interface. The tool itself is a cookie-free domain and does not collect any personal data. It triggers other tags, which in turn may collect data. Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If you have carried out a deactivation at the domain or cookie level, this applies to all tracking tags that are implemented with Google Tag Manager. https://www.google.com/analytics/terms/tag-manager/

7)    Use of retargeting and remarketing

This website uses the “Google Analytics Remarketing” tool from Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; “Google”). This tool is used to present interest-based advertisements from within the Google advertising network to visitors of the website. Retargeting or remarketing is understood to mean technologies with which users who have previously visited a website are still shown relevant ads even after leaving the website. For this purpose, it is necessary to recognise users beyond one’s own website. Corresponding service providers use cookies for this and take your previous usage behaviour into account. If a user sees personalised ads, these are matched to the previously collected data about them. For these personalised ads, it is not necessary for the user to be identified beyond recognition. We do not combine the data used for retargeting or remarketing with other data.

We use these technologies to place ads on Google and other websites. To place the ads, we commission third-party providers. We use services from Google, among others, that enable the automatic display of products of interest to internet users. This function is implemented by cookies. You can find additional information on this technology in Google’s privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en-GB. The installation of cookies for Google Remarketing and Google Ads Conversion Tracking can be prevented by visiting the website https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads?hl=en-GB and by selecting the corresponding settings in your browser. You can also find additional information about cookies under section “4.) Cookies”.

8)    Use of Google Maps

We use Google Maps on our website. Google Maps is a service of Google Inc. (“Google”), 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

The Google Maps plug-in is integrated by embedding the service on our website using a so-called “iFrame”. When loading this iFrame, Google may collect and process information (including personal data). It cannot be excluded that Google will also transmit the information to a server in a third country.

You can find information on Google’s existing Privacy Shield certification and other relevant information on data processing by Google when using Google services in this Privacy Policy under section “5) Information about Google services”.

We ourselves do not collect any data when you use Google Maps on our website.

The purpose of integrating Google Maps is so we can present our address to you and provide additional information for your arrival. Integrating Google Maps also allows us to present locations to you; however, you are not limited to individual map sections and can research distances, etc. independently.

The legal basis for the processing of personal data described here is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest required for this lies in the great benefit that Google Maps offers. By integrating Google Maps, we do not have to use illustrations, etc. to provide directions to the respective locations, and each user can instead plan their journey independently. Google also has a legitimate interest in the (personal) data collected in order to improve its own services.

Right to object

You have the right to object. You can notify us of your objection at any time (for example, by sending an email to dataprivacy@rundstedt.ch).

The provision of personal data is neither required by law nor by contract and is also not required for the conclusion of a contract. You are in no way obliged to provide the personal data. However, not providing the data could mean that you are not able to use our website or are not able to use it to its full extent.

9)    Contacting us

You have the option of contacting us by post, phone or email.

Should you contact us by post, we may process your address data (for example, surname, first name, street, place of residence, postcode), date and time of receipt of the mail as well as the data that results from your letter itself.

Should you contact us by phone, we may process your phone number, the time of the call, and, should these be disclosed to us during the call, your name, email address and the details of your inquiry.

Should you contact us by email, we may process your email address, the time of the email as well as the data resulting from the message text (including any attachments).

The purpose of processing the above data is to process the inquiry and to be able to contact the inquirer in order to provide an appropriate response.

The legal basis for the processing of personal data described here is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. It is our legitimate interest to offer you the opportunity to contact us at any time and to be able to respond to your inquiries.

The personal data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected.

However, not providing the data could mean that you are not able to contact us or that we are not able to contact you.

10)    Social networks & external links

In addition to this website, we also maintain presences on various social media, which you can access via the corresponding buttons on our website. If you visit such a presence, personal data may be transmitted to the provider of the social network. It is possible that in addition to the storage of the data you have specifically entered on the social media website, additional information will be processed by the provider of the social network.

In addition, the provider of the social network may process the most important data of the computer system from which you are visiting – for example, your IP address, the processor type used and the browser version, including plug-ins.

If you are logged in with your personal user account of the respective network while visiting such a website, the network can assign the visit to this account.

The purpose and scope of the data collection by the respective social media website and the further processing of your data there as well as your rights in this regard can be found in the respective policies of the respective providers, for example:

11)    Data security

We secure our website and other systems against loss, destruction, access, modification or distribution of your data by unauthorised persons through technical and organisational measures. However, despite regular checks, complete protection against all threats is not possible.

12)    Changes to this Privacy Policy

Legislative changes or changes to our internal processes may make it necessary to adapt this Privacy Policy.

In the event of such a change, we will notify you of this above the heading “Privacy Policy”.

13)    Revocation

You have the right to revoke your consent for future processing at any time without this affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out based on your consent until the point of revocation.
